Low E Window is a dual glazed window, where one of the interior surfaces between the glass has a microscopically thin coating of metal oxide that screens solar heat gain during the summer months, and reduces heat loss in the winter, as well as helps to filter out UV Rays.
Retrofitting a window refers to a installation process where the old window is removed, but the frame is left in the opening. A new window, with a wide exterior fin (Trim), is built to the exact size of the opening and installed. The advantage to this is a lower cost of labor for installation. The disadvantage is since the window must be smaller than the original window to fit in the opening, you lose a small percentage of glass surface.

A "Pre-Hung" Door refers to a door that is shipped with a new frame. When the door is installed, the entire frame is removed, and the new frame is put into place. This insures that the door fits perfectly into the frame, and that the door frame is in good shape. If a door is replaced into an existing frame, the door is refered to as a "Slab"
